| Use this powerpoint presentation to introduce regular polygons. Then watch as one polygon rolls around another. Investigate the link between the shapes used and the number of rolls required to return the rolling polygon back to its original position. Extend your investigation to include loci. Students will need their own (cardboard) polygons to experiment on. |
